whats the the best early game weapon

So far big fan of the blood bolt thingy. Very ez to get. Even with cloth armour its essentially unlimited spam ammo.

Not sure how viable it is past first boss tho

I think I killed it with the 'Brain on a Stick' from merchant and then been using it's Frost Piercers ever since. Am at the deep desert boss atm and diededz so got a lot of use out of those early weapons.

Blood bolt can be upgraded and shoot 3 homing bolts.

The golden great bow with iron arrows worked pretty well for me.

It does not take much time to get some demonic bars that allow creating the demonic sword using the demonic workstation.
To get the workstation, you only need 5 bars. And you can create more bars with standard stuff like copper, iron and gold.

Those demonic weapons are pretty good and fast.

I like the pirate sword. super easy to get and does a ton of damage.

The other weapon I use frequently early game are summons, the little snowmen do a ton of damage, and its pretty easy to get 4 of them.
