Is there a faster way to travel across seas except the wooden boat?

i just began this game and I wonder if there's another method for it.

Teleportation scrolls, recall scrolls, recall flasks, portal flask, Waystone

The scrolls drop randomly in cave areas
Waystone, Recall flask and portal flask are from progression quests
Don't recall if they're sold by NPCs if you run out... but I don't think you'll run out, there's not much need to explore too many islands

If you need to travel far you can kinda cheat the fast travel system, too. Like if you needed to go really far to the west you can travel as far west as your boat will take you in one move, then you'll start on the right side of the screen off that new island. Then immediately click the button to travel east and when the map pops up, just move one space to the north. Then immediately click the option to travel south and when the map pops up just go as far west as it lets you. In this way you can go as far as you'd like on the map while only having to sail across one screen.

sounds like an exploit but thanks for giving me a good workaround. i guess i should use it!
