Remove Companion
How do you remove/unsummon companion ?

top of your screen is your "Buff Bar" similar to Terraria as a reference... just right click with mouse the icon associated with your companion to despawn them. you dont need to carry with you their spawn item either so you wont lose it if you have item loss on death enabled. i just leave those items on pedestals on display back home. the companion will follow you around the world until you cancel the "Buff" effect. this is identical to how it works in Terraria

Off-topic but if you play on Brutal, definitely keep at least one summon weapon on you so you can tell your bois to hunt down those cavelings. They are much more effective than your puny legs. I pretty much got all tungsten and post-tungsten ores from them alone.
