Monitor brightness

Anyone else having an issue where your monitor brightness goes down when playing and after playing ? I have to restart HDR to resolve it.

I have heard about this problem before, but not able to reproduce it myself :/
Try to play the game in windowed borderless, see if that helps it.

It's not a huge deal, just annoying really. Let me know if you need more input to look into it in the future.

I just installed the game and experience this. Running on Windows 11 with HDR enabled in the OS and also Auto-HDR enabled. When exiting the game the display is very dark/dim and the only fix is to disable, then re-enable HDR in Windows. I've tried all combinations of excluding the app from auto-HDR and turning off auto HDR entirely with nothing making a difference. The only way to not experience this is to turn off HDR in Windows 11 before running the game. Windowed borderless also makes no difference.

I have this issue to just bought the game I just turn my monitor off and on to fix it once I leave the game.

I think it's a windows problem and not this games problem.

Quickest workaround in Windows 11 is just use HDR hotkey to toggle off then back on after game. WIN+ALT+B

I think it's related to the game as it's only this game I've ever experienced in and I run HDR for everything, even games that don't support it run in auto-hdr all fine. It' seems like not a big problem, but on my LG OLED it also makes the game colors look bad enough that I haven't been playing this. Just checking in to see if it's been fixed. Hopefully some day.

Thanks for that shortcut! I have this same issue. I've experienced it in a small handful of games before. It's pretty annoying to me.

Sorry to necro a thread, but I have this same problem while playing in borderless window. It also makes my second monitor go black for 2-3 seconds if I alt tab.

Just wanting to bump this, I had this issue and no matter if I had windowed, borderless windowed, or fullscreen. Close out the game, that monitor's brightness was way down. I have had another game fuss about HDR, can't remember if I needed to turn HDR on or off. However, for this game I need to TURN HDR OFF so the screen doesn't flicker when I alt-tab or go dark when I shut down the game. Could be windows, could be the game, could be hardware. No clue. Hope this helps
