Destroying an NPC Village - Cheating?

The game allows you to loot and destroy NPC villages without any penalty. NPCs do not attack the player and their relationship with the player does not deteriorate.

Isn't that too much of a simplification, or even cheating?

Just don't do that if you want. I'm a normal minecraft player and looting a NPC village is the best thing i can do. But i agree with your point. The dev need to put a penalty for loot and destroy NPC village. (Sorry, english is not my native language)

I just think that same way like you and i decide to give a break until hostile village system comes up or at least some kind of punishment as you say. (IDK such a plan exist?) like rimworld.

Literally i'm looting and attacking them but they are doing nothing and it feels empty at that point.

It would be nice to play as a rogue and doing some stealing nights from other villages or even raiding them maybe with my bois.
