Tons of players play too Minecraft; one worst graphic game ever, and they never complained about that because core game is very good.
No, minecraft graphics are actually really well received by a majority of players, the pallet is nice and if you dont like it, there are a bunch of different texture packs from minecraft, aswell as many independent creators, there are also shader packs as well. To say that minecraft has one of the worst graphics ever really doesnt prove your insight much at all. This game doesnt have much detailing on any of the sprites and the colour pallet is too saturated, ontop of that there are no shadows, all of these combined make the game very primitive and not so nice to look at, the base of the sprites are there, it just seems as if they are not finished, as the game hasnt officially released I wouldnt be surprised if retouching graphics were at the end of the to do list, but for a game that was said to release 3 years ago, It would give the game more momentum if the appearance of the game play was worked on more.
also nostalgist music and I still playing for sometime
So yea I like this graphics.
Minecraft's base graphics are incredible. If you dont agree then you are in the minority that believes that, however I was simply saying that minecraft has a lot more graphics options. Comparing one of the most successful games to an indie project much like this isnt fair at all. I was only mentioning that because they brought it up. There are shadows in the game but not very advanced shadows or for entities, shadows make a game look a lot nicer. That being said, after buying and loading up the game, the pallet isnt as bad as shown in the showcase, its defiantly playable and looks a lot better than i make it out to be, but working on the sprites and maybe improving shadows would make the game all the more successful.
Something as basic as shadows would have an huge impact on the atmosphere; and I am not saying it's necessary - just that it would be nice and the general customer would get a better first impression on it. I think it's called First impression bias in behavioral science.
