[Bug] Game won't start up anymore.
First of all, I have to say, that the time I was able to spent in this game was already very entertaining (although sadly very short)
But a problem that prevents me from having more fun with it is, that it doesn't start again anymore.

After pressing play in Steam, a black window opens itself, music is playing, the mouse changes to the mousepointer of the game, but then...nothing.
All I can do is pressing the [x] to close Necesse.

What I tried to fix it, was the following:
- Run as administor
- Changing compatibilty around
- Verifiying the game files
- Reinstall the whole game
- Testing the other beta branch
- Deleting the files under the appdata/roaming/necesse folder to prevent conflicts with maybe
screwed up configs or saves
(Order may vary)

There are no new drivers or updates, that hadn't been already on my pc when the game
ran the first time.

Very sorry to hear this. The log file unfortunately doesn't say much in this case. A few questions that may help ultimately figuring this out:
When was the last time you knew it worked?
Do you not see the "loading..." screens either?
Have you tried to restart your PC?

Woah, that was fast! Thank you :)

The last time it worked, was when I was gifted it yesterday.
After shutting down my PC and trying to play again today, the issue occured.
Exiting the game seemed normal back then and while running, there were no other problems
that I was aware of.

Starting it up just shows the black window (but with that little guy in corner)
A new restart of my PC did not help (forgot to mention that in the post above, sorry).
It may as well be just my machine acting up, but at least for now Necesse is the only game
with this problem.
Please forgive me, that I tagged the post with [Bug], because it doesn't have to be caused by this game. If you want I can change that.

Edit: The Bios settings are the same as they were before too.

I really want to fix this, but I can't really find a way to reproduce this or debug it effectively at the moment.
If you would be willing to add me as friend, it could help me get some quick answers to troubleshooting questions and maybe share a bit more about your setup.

Hey sorry, that it took me so long, but there were some problems in my real life, that prevented me from writing here and adding you. Christmas can be stressfull.

Edit: Okay...I just tried it again out of curiosity and it works now.
I changed nothing from the last time, just another start of my machine after I shut it down before I left my house today.

This is very strange. I really don't get it, but I am glad.

Same thing happening here.
Bought it on July 24th and I refunded it then because of this, will have to do it again till it is fixed. :-(
