Ouija board attic room- SPOILERS FOR BEGINNING OF GAME
Hello
I am clearly missing something BIG TIME. I've only just started the game and already appear to be stuck!

I have completed the memory card thing 3 times and have been prompted by Jen to go try the Ouija board. She specifically mentions asking questions that relate to what I have found- I assume it means the direct instruction from the board recording (ask me about Isabella) but all I get are the same generic questions. What is happening?

The question only comes up later. If you look directly opposite the door to the room with the ouija board there's an interactable spot with a sheet of paper, you need to both place things on there and tune the radio next to the door. Best thing to do is once you've done it once, head for the playground and see if you can complete that, it should trigger access to the ground floor of the mansion or the library, once you've explored enough you should get the things you need to trigger the info on 'Isabella'.

OK odd that I am directly prompted to do it when there doesn't seem to be anywhere else to go so far!

For info I have completed the playground (got a tick on my tablet) it's currently telling me to locate a hidden source of power in my location. Still not done that but nowhere else is open so far.

Yeah, it's not exactly obvious, had me stuck for a bit too. Big thing with this game is to learn the tells for things. I've noticed that apart from the six items on the tablet checklist, there's not a lot to show where next so most is poking about, seeing where you hear someone whisper or where your cursor triggers with either examine or activate.

Probably basic, but have you got the EMF scan of the attic checked off? It's mostly a case of finding the wall sockets, I think, by sweeping the cursor around the various screens in the attic with the EMF active, but just thinking back, I think the first stage is (spoilered):

EMF scan the attic hall and rooms (mostly find the active sockets in examination screens)
Pick up 3 EVP signals in the attic (you may also need the one in the playground)
Run the ESP/memory test 3 times
Run the cameras (I think the big one is the study, there should be a catch 'changes' run - you've probably got this to have gotten at the ouija board, since I believe that trips the door opening)
Radio box the playground (I think you might need to trigger an event by sitting on the playground toys in a specific order (see elsewhere in the forum))
Try and get nowhere with the oujia board
Talk to the others about everything through the chat app

That should unlock the thermal cam which leads to the library (though you do need to sweep the attic with the active thermal cam first) then the lab/class after you hear a particular conversation on the walkies.


Once you've got access to the main house, you should be able to find some other bits that'll open things further and eventually get access to a drone for access to the other outside area.

It's worth knowing that the camera's also trigger the EMF meter and need to be scanned. As for the playground you do need to use the box there, but you don't need to trigger the event to move on to the rest of the game

Thanks for the help, I guess I wasn't using the EMF often enough.
As you can see from my new post I have made it further and now hit upon another issue...
