DO NOT BUY!!!!!
anyone else rather upset about lack of game here vary small playable areas get boring fast so fast that even after ten minutes i shut the game off but i let my daughter try it so now we're at 108 minutes. and i am not sure if i can still get the refund i will be trying though due to lack of anything interesting i don't know much about programming but i would never release something so crap.. no building, no protection beside running away, for a game called Natural instincts the basic instinct isn't even in the game boo and what a poor effort..

Jesus.. Christchurch in North Island, Auckland for Nova Scotia! So hunky Funky Jockey Holy Macbastardo
Ah, the typical "I don't like the game, so you shouldn't either" thread that can be found in almost every discussion forum here on Steam.

I in fact find the game very relaxing, and got exacly what was presented in the screenshots, trailers and description of the game. So instead of going in all-mental mode with your DO NOT BUY!!! like it's the biggest scam ever, you can also just accept that it's just not your cup of tea.

I totalled 61 minutes "gameplay" just launching 6 times the tutorial, got immediately a gamebreaking bug (which I understand few others have encountered, probably because tied to specific input devices uncorrectly initialized by the game engine), the next launches were just to check that bug still existed in other HW and setting configurations. Believe most of those minutes ticked while I was writing the ingame bug report. Now 4 days have passed, nobody cared and there's no evidence my gamebreaking bug will be checked and corrected. Just so you know, I do game testing, in particular on Unity; bugs and how to check them, how to report them (even how to identify their cause or to get around them in some situations) is all part of my knowledge base. Perhaps was my expectation then, that this bug had to get top priority as it normally happens with the studios I worked with. Could say, I was ready to provide expert bugchecking for free if anybody showed to be concerned with my report... But I won't be losing more of my time waiting. This was truly unprofessional, such serious bugs have at least to be acknowledged without delay, instead of let around (or at most listed somewhere) up to the point when their effects sum up. If I can't get anybody to care with this, I can't trust with anything in future too; and now I lost my confidence in this game ever showing the quality I expected. Refund requested, I'm out.

We do care and we do read every bug report that we can via e-mail and via the in-game bug reporter. We are working on fixing every single one we get. However, Natural Instincts has high hardware requirements and at the moment, crashes on laptops with integrated graphic cards. Is that the case for you? Did you add your specs to the bug report?

I'm responding to you because of your politeness (I don't waste time with those who don't deserve). As said, I'm already out, so have no further interest in this game. Appreciate you say to be reading all reports, but you don't acknowledge them (sure didn't with mine. So why ask for a return email account in the ingame bug reporter?). I bet that just after launch there is plenty of newfound bugs, some easier to find and squash but some will require more time and skills. So was ready to provide further info upon request, but while that bug isn't corrected I am totally blocked, so much it is serious. I already provided technical info, but didn't show the "basic HW specs" as I feel the problem is elsewhere: running on a brand new desktop, i7-11700K CPU, GeForce GTX-1660 GPU, 32GB RAM, plenty of disk space, all drivers updated, no problem ever running any software, neither any indication of high resource usage with Natural Instinct.

What a load of BS. No one sane would say the above about a game they liked.

Did you use the in-game bug reporter or send everything via e-mail?
We do acknowledge all of them. Game was created by literally small number of people and we are working on fixing every problem day and night since it has launched. Just not everything is so easy to fix in a blink of an eye, so please, have patience. I understand you have already given up on the game and I understand that, but please, don't say that we don't care and that we don't fix anything. There were 4 updates already and we're working hard on another one.

Yes, used the in-game bug reporter. I mentioned it was a game-breaking issue. Therefore, while I know it could require time to fix, I expected someone to show the issue would be dealt with. I don't have to keep waiting for who knows how long without even the possibility to start playing, without even the faintest trace of that issue being managed. Not that you aren't doing anything, it seems you are addressing lots of other bugs, but to me those are of minor importance. I already mentioned elsewhere that would have been better to start with a public bugtracker, so every user could know what had been reported, further contribute to existing reports, and know issues being managed and their state. While in early access, there's little else than seeing progress on issues for users who can't really play yet.

We will discuss this. However, we have never done something like a public bug tracker and I doubt it will change. I'll let you know about our decision.

Thank you. Will keep monitoring about "your" decision.

i don't get all the hostility, the game looks beautiful and it literally just came out!, why do some people always take the time to attack devs even though they're polite?, stuff like this is the reason devs eventually stop talking to the community :steamsad:

Well, I don't intend to stop talking to you as the community because I realize that without you many games would not exist, Plus, I'm a gamer as well and I know how important it is to have some form of contact with the dev team.
JunkyThePope Jul 28, 2021 @ 6:42pm
i think that you still talking about this is a good sign i am hoping you have time to get so more things to do in the game i still have it and im hoping
