I have just not finished the mainquest in normal, but -now at level 62- I am grinding for more gold and a little better gear on map 2. This is very boring and frustrating. Although you can travel to some hotspots, you have immense long ways to go to fullfill some of the quests. What you get doesn't match with the effort to fulfill.
Only the brutals drop some very good gear. The best gear at shops costs immense gold.
Once defeated, you must rebirth to kill the brutals again? The "daily" brutals seems to be not in every difficulty or gameversion. In GoG which I have, I dont see any screen with "daily brutal"
I love RPGs, and i love it to travel, explore and train my avatar, but this game is not well balanced.
The Gameplay is just funny at the beginning, when you learn, how it works an doing some quests and get some gear - but later in the game, its very repetitive. Upgrading gear needs grinding the scards, buying some better gear need extreme grinding gold, gaining a level after 60? grinding a lot of minion fights ((....
Other Things -I don't like:
No markers on the map possible. Minimap not configurable
The Inventory and your hide are very small, no way to upgrade for more places, so testing other gear is difficult
The Explanation of some skills and mechanics could be much better.
Some Questgivers are not marked on the map, if you fulfill the things to do. You should return, but where he has been?
RunningSpeed is so low, ...the Worst of all...
Positives:
No Exp-Penalty at Deaths
Some nice quests or npcs with joke!
Skills complete resettable, costs much, but helps (=?)
At all:
Good ideas, but at the moment I see no longtime motivation for me after fulfill the mainquest
edit1:
possibility to see the waekness of enemies will not work really good, because you cannot change weapon or skill in fight...>useless
Was it in the SE of Troldeskoven, this immortal? Nice Idea to beat him again and again.
He becomes stronger every time, but the xp-reward remains the same....that is riduculous
Also tip: you can enhance your gear for 5 bloodstones if it is at +3 to the curent game stage you are at (superior, pristine and such) instead of buying it again
