As for length - it kinda depends on you heavily, you can easily ♥♥♥♥ up in the game and make yourself take MUCH longer to beat it.
Grind for money is rather slow early on - so if you ♥♥♥♥ yourself up with buying meh equipment you can find yourself grinding for quite a bit.
Same with build - although you can reset it later on(actually you CAN technically reach the town with reset early tho), if you ♥♥♥♥ it up early on, you are screwed, since levels themselves don't give you any power, only HP.
Your power fully comes from equip and the skills you learn, nothing else.(although the active skills scale based on levels, so at the very least those can save you if you heavily screwed up, primarily the 'bite' skill which drains life and increases it's power with level, which means you can partly negate being screwed by equip with enough levels.
If you don't screw up - probably 10-15 hours.. if you screw up - who knows how long.
There is a hefty amount of sidequests as well, which are really obscure often beyond actually getting them and you kinda must read the quest journal. There are often multiple ways to solve them and the more hidden one/harder objective is usually more rewarding.
With 100+ sidequests it's probably gonna take longer than that.
So yeah, it's about how you play it by a huge margin unlike most nowadays games where everyone is guaranteed to beat game fast no matter how trash of a build you use.

@Devs: a pinned FAQ would be a nice addition to forum topics.
Daily brutals were removed, not brutals.
You still have the fixed location and wild brutals to fight, just not the "once a day to collect your daily reward" brutals.
As I already told in my first post - some decisions change quest reward, other are mostly just some text changes.
