Support of Fujifilm W3 3D camera AVI video files
Hello,

I found that your player supports MPO files which is awesome! I see in this forum that several people like me had a Fijifilm W3 camera back in the NVidia 3D vision days and seem happy with your player.

However, to me it seems that the AVI video files coming from the Fujifilm W3 are not played in 3D.

I have some videos from the Fujifilm W3 that I am 100% sure were rendered with stereoscopic images using the NVidia 3D vision system and the NVidia 3D vision video player. However, almost 10 years later, whatever media player I use, I can see only one image like a normal 2D video. I have no clue what codec did Fujifilm use for these AVI files but the content is not side by side, there must be two separate videos in the file.

It would be really great if somehow your player could support these files. I can provide one sample if you want.

I didn't read the second page of the forum, I'll post your answer of another thread here.

--- Fujifilm Finepix real 3D W3
I also own this camera and tried to support 3D video shot with this camera, but I had to give up because it uses its own format unlike the general 3D VR video format did. Currently, only MPO still images are supported. (After using Fujifilm's MyFinePixStudio to export as two files for the left and right eyes, I was able to create a 3D video by exporting it as a side-by-side video with video editing software. However, it was very hard work...)

Thank you so much for your question. Finepix real 3D W3 is a hardware of the era when stereoscopic video is not common yet, so the video format is very unique. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we recommend that you use MyFinePix Studio and video editing software to generate stereoscopic video as described above.

Bruh, Can't you just look for the second stream and SBS if detected?

Thank you so much for your question.

After watching your writing and using "ffmpeg" to run the information command for the 3D-AVI file, I found two video streams and one audio stream as you said. However, since the video decoder of this application is made by a third party, it is not possible to convert and play the video data in real time. We apologize for not meeting your expectations.

Also, it seems that the "MyFinePixStudio" that I recommended before is no longer supported, and I couldn't even download it from the official website. hmmm ... "ffmpeg" was a bit esoteric to install and command, but I was able to directly convert 3D-AVI file to Side by Side video. (I referred to the forum below)
