LOAL- Lock On After Launch - missile flies upward above target and then descends from above, useful if there is terrain or obstacles in the way
It's actually inspired by the way apache helicopter hellfire missiles work... atleast from my experience playing apache video games :)
So I just bought the game last night and I'm on day 3 when the bombers arrive, my problem is the reticle for locking my personal missile launcher is so small, (just the tiny dot in the center) that I can not hit them. Am I doing something wrong here as it is incredibly frustrating...
The tracking reticle should be just about the entire circle, not just the center dot. BTW, what screen resolution are you playing at?
I'd like to try and help but pls understand that thousands of players have completed the game and this is the first time I've heard this complaint. I'm always up for improving the game though! Do you want to try using a controller so you can Lock on the air targets?
I am using a mouse and keyboard and playing at 1920x1080. I havent found anyone with this specific problem either that is why I am asking here. I could probably capture some footage if interested.
I almost always play games with a keyboard and mouse but since I had to test this game a lot with a controller I actually enjoyed playing with a controller. Since your rifle is more of a back-up and your Turrets should be doing the work, I found using a controller just as fun but easier for the air targets for the locking function.
Will be in touch.
