Nobody knows because PikPok hasn't stated anything official yet. In fact they stated themselves they don't know any news to share yet.
As for what they will be like, they will most likely be in the same way as the ones on mobile phone.
I haven't really experienced the mobile version yet. I just downloaded this game for PC. I didn't even know about the mobile version. After looking at the comments yesterday I decided to download it and it's VERY different than the PC version. I liked it more, but favor the PC over my phone as I like the interface usage better with the mouse verses a stylist. Point being, I don't know what time trials are like on the mobile and I'm curious.
I'm now curious on why they also made the PC different than the phone version because they could have made both the same and let people pick and get money boths ways. As you can easily tell the phone version is for money.
I REALLY wish they had given us all those options in the pc version. I loved it, but I won't change my preference just because they wanted to be greedy. The game is amazing though either way you choose to play. I just love how real everything is in the detail of the announcer, the horse movement, the foaling. Granted there are things that can be improved, there always are as nothing is perfect, but given the detail they placed into the greater aspects, this game is still hard to beat in that way. Love it!
Actually the PC version is around 80 - 90% identical to the mobile phone one. The only things missing at the moment, are the hidden genes on horses (not really needed as breeding on PC is a lot easier), the ability to name your ranch and the Time Trials (which are most likely going to be added soon). The PC version has multiplayer, but it's geared more towards being a Single Player game which is why Live Events were omitted.
Generally when the PC version launched it was the same as the app. It's just that the app is being developed faster because it earns them the most money, as opposed to the PC which is a one-time purchase. It makes sense as well because the app was released first. The PC game came a year later. Therefore, the app has always been their priority and it has a much bigger player base.
On the other hand, it is likely, as I remember some of the devs' comments before the PC game launched officially, that they have different plans for PC because it's mainly supposed to be a Single Player experience. The PC development team could also be much smaller, making updates more far apart and fewer in numbers. There could be a ton of reasons. It's not necessarily because they are greedy, it's logical that they as a company will focus on the product that earns them more money. Everyone does that. They owe it to the players who spend money on their game the most.
And as for the Time Trials. Time Trials are basically a flat race around an obstacle course that happens in the same map as Quick Ride (on PC). You run from point A to point B in a shortest time possible, while making sure to pass through flagged gates along the way. The faster your completion time, the better the rewards. Eventually they will add jumping as well, but at the moment we don't know if those will just be added to Time Trials in general, or if they will develop a completely new type of competition like Steeplechase or Cross-Country. I assume the PC version will be the done the same way (if they decide to add that gamemode) since we already have the Quick Ride map, and the style of the Time Trials is simple enough that it should be easily compatible with the way the PC game is designed.
The time trials sounds just simply amazing and that really interests me. I hope they add it so I get a chance to try it!
Thank you for your reply and taking the time to explain. I really appreciate it Lunar!
Hopefully, we don't have to wait too long!
WOW! Thank you for sharing this. I think we were all questioning on if we would even get updates. At least now we know we will.
That is so f'd up. Should've said that ♥♥♥♥ before allowing people to purchase it; just a waste of money and time. There are better horse racing games out there that I would've paid triple to play, regardless of if they were in a foreign language and had to be imported.
I don't want to play dress up with my desktop horses, I have TS3 for that. At least you could play that for years to come religiously due to mods and custom content.
♥♥♥♥♥ if you don't get off of here with your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Offtopic: The multiplayer has competition and events like the Android version? Thanks in advance!
