Breeding stats are terrible
I think something's wrong with the way stats are passed down through breeding. I have to mostly buy horses from the market because i keep breeding only terrible horses. My legacy horse lineage is always the worst in my stable just because the only way to get legacy horses is through breeding and it's impossibel to breed a good horse. The best possible stats i got were B and i settled for it after hours of trying, bought a stallion with almost all A+ stats and keep getting foals with all C or all D stats 90% of the time anyway.

Right now i have been stuck on an early breeding goal for hours, all i've been doing is play the course that gives me the most gold then breed the same horses over and over and over again. I need to breed a foal with AGI stat of 50 or above, never before have i had a problem passing this goal.

But now i keep getting horrible foals no matter what. How is it possible that i bought a stallion and mare with both A+ stats and repeatedly get foals with D or C stats when i breed them together ???

It's just getting furstrating now. Breeding those 2 excellent horses repeatedly and only getting foals with the most mediocre base stats i've ever seen.

Anyone else has that issue with breeding or am i just the unluckiest breeder ?

Literally been doing the same thing and reading through pass posts about this. I spent all day yesterday trying to improve on my original legacy horse for the first time playing after the breed/new discipline update.
The breeding is totally broken. Iv been breeding a grade 6 A+ A+ A+ A+ A mare with a C A+ A A+ A+ Sire. Technically I should be getting foals that always have 2 A+ stats, the foals I have been getting are a mixture between C, B and sometimes As as a grade 6 horse. Totally broken and frustrating. There is no true way to improve on a bloodline, the best way to get high stat horses is to buy them. So what is the point of breeding if you can never get a foal better than its parents?

Devs need to fix the breeding, it generally makes me rage quit.

Thank you for this thread, iam trying to breed my legacy horse all day long since my rival is getting on my nerves. I spent so much money already and didnt realise it could be bugged, since i just started playing... That sucks :c

Did some breeding today too.
It was an odd experience. I got myself an A+ C A+ A+ D tier 4 stallion. After like 4-5 foals with my tier 3 legacy mare, I got a tier 4 mare with A+ C A+ A+ C that became my new legacy mare.
Now my new goal was mainly to get the tier higher. Now I'm at tier 5 mare and my stats are back to B C D D D again. It's really odd and I'm suprised not more people are complaining about this.

I mean, if I can get my A+ stats back by more breeding, sure. But the amount of time it takes to get a current tier, good stat horse - the story is much further already and you probably need the next tier already and the grind starts again.

This feels odd to get to tier 10 with good stats.
Right now I'd say, buy good horses until you are done with the story and then, once you reach tier 10 breed for good stats.
Sucks, especially when you actually want to use your legacy breeding line.
The breeding is the same as on mobile, but we lack the ability to modify down. That's what's causing issues primarily. Unless they add that in the future, breeding will continue to be a pain.

The only saving grace is that except for the Rival races you don't really need horses with very good stats to beat races. You can just make a perfect horse for what you need.
I'm trying very hard to improve my legacy line and 90% of them come out D/C no matter how many times I breed them to something higher. It takes way too much time/money to keep popping mid-range foals.
