The breeding is totally broken. Iv been breeding a grade 6 A+ A+ A+ A+ A mare with a C A+ A A+ A+ Sire. Technically I should be getting foals that always have 2 A+ stats, the foals I have been getting are a mixture between C, B and sometimes As as a grade 6 horse. Totally broken and frustrating. There is no true way to improve on a bloodline, the best way to get high stat horses is to buy them. So what is the point of breeding if you can never get a foal better than its parents?
Devs need to fix the breeding, it generally makes me rage quit.
It was an odd experience. I got myself an A+ C A+ A+ D tier 4 stallion. After like 4-5 foals with my tier 3 legacy mare, I got a tier 4 mare with A+ C A+ A+ C that became my new legacy mare.
Now my new goal was mainly to get the tier higher. Now I'm at tier 5 mare and my stats are back to B C D D D again. It's really odd and I'm suprised not more people are complaining about this.
I mean, if I can get my A+ stats back by more breeding, sure. But the amount of time it takes to get a current tier, good stat horse - the story is much further already and you probably need the next tier already and the grind starts again.
This feels odd to get to tier 10 with good stats.
Right now I'd say, buy good horses until you are done with the story and then, once you reach tier 10 breed for good stats.
Sucks, especially when you actually want to use your legacy breeding line.
The only saving grace is that except for the Rival races you don't really need horses with very good stats to beat races. You can just make a perfect horse for what you need.
