Q: When will the game officially release?
A: Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition launches globally on Steam on the 25th of June New Zealand Time.

Q: What makes Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition different from the mobile version?
A: Both versions of Rival Stars Horse Racing include features unique to each platform. As a premium title, Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition offers features such as the Horse Creator, Betting Party, and Live Multiplayer, whereas the mobile version includes live events. Foals, Caretakers, and story mode are featured on both platforms.


Q: Can I play with a controller?
Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition supports most controllers, with specific support provided for XBox 360 and XBox One controllers, and the Playstation 4 DualShock controller.

Q: Will additional features be shared between the mobile and desktop editions of the game?
Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition has been redesigned and balanced from the ground up as a premium title. As a result, all of the new features included in the Desktop Edition are exclusive to the desktop version of the game.

As the Desktop Edition is Premium and not Free to Play, it will always have some design differences from the mobile game. We will continue to support both titles, and will be making decisions about future updates, content, and game features post release.

Q: Will you no longer be developing the mobile game?
Both the Desktop Edition and the mobile versions of Rival Stars Horse Racing are active projects for PikPok, and we have plans to support both. Specifically, Rival Stars Horse Racing for mobile has a number of updates intended for the future.

Q: How much will it cost?
The release price is US$40

Q: Will it be cross platform?
There will be no crossplay between the mobile game and the Desktop Edition. PC and Mac players however will be able to compete against each other in multiplayer races.

Q: Will there be DLC?
We are currently focusing on getting the very best game possible ready for PC and Mac players. We aim to have more information on any future content at a later date.

I think they need to make all the rival races with Richard a match race with out all the NPC horses.That fly by and take the winning spot from players and Richard. There is no way to win against the NPC'S.

hello!! I am having some issues with rival stars horse racing every time I try to open it it does not work I have a perfectly good internet connection and I do not think I need to update so if anyone could help me with that I would be most appreciative.

As someone who has played many sims, particularly ones with breeding/genetic mechanics.. I LOVE this game. I am deeply impressed by the graphics, gameplay, and thoughtfulness with which it was designed. I had a question, as well as a suggestion.

Question:

In the future, will there be a user-based auction/trade space for selling horses?

Part of the fun of honing stats and rare colours through breeding is being able to share your results with the community via trade or sale. Sims that are multiplayer in this regard tend to do well! I'm thinking specifically of PureFelinity (a web based sim, I played it for around a decade, you could even register your own breed for real money if you documented unique breed characteristics and met the consistency requirements to do so.. it gave you something to work towards and was super fun)

Minor UI suggestion: Instead of having to hit back 2-4 times depending on where you are, having a "home" menu would be ideal to take you back to the main selection (not title screen) for Homestead, stables, races, training etc.

I have a weird glitch to where I enter my foals stall and the whole game locks up. I cant even sell the foal. my mare is now locked into a foal stall with the foal and I cant do anything because it completely locks up when I try

i pray that the sorting system gets changed- its SO frustrating and the way the horse reorder system is is really slow, if you have a level 8 and you want it to be at the start and it's at the end of 30 horses, you have to sort through every single horse

The GPU usage is to high, I run this on a 10700 intel CPU and 2070 GPU with 100% usage of GPU. The Graphic goes lag when there are more horses in screen. And I cannot find the graphic settings right now.
