Q: When will the game officially release?
A: Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition launches globally on Steam on the 25th of June New Zealand Time.

Q: What makes Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition different from the mobile version?
A: Both versions of Rival Stars Horse Racing include features unique to each platform. As a premium title, Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition offers features such as the Horse Creator, Betting Party, and Live Multiplayer, whereas the mobile version includes live events. Foals, Caretakers, and story mode are featured on both platforms.


Q: Can I play with a controller?
Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition supports most controllers, with specific support provided for XBox 360 and XBox One controllers, and the Playstation 4 DualShock controller.

Q: Will additional features be shared between the mobile and desktop editions of the game?
Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition has been redesigned and balanced from the ground up as a premium title. As a result, all of the new features included in the Desktop Edition are exclusive to the desktop version of the game.

As the Desktop Edition is Premium and not Free to Play, it will always have some design differences from the mobile game. We will continue to support both titles, and will be making decisions about future updates, content, and game features post release.

Q: Will you no longer be developing the mobile game?
Both the Desktop Edition and the mobile versions of Rival Stars Horse Racing are active projects for PikPok, and we have plans to support both. Specifically, Rival Stars Horse Racing for mobile has a number of updates intended for the future.

Q: How much will it cost?
The release price is US$40

Q: Will it be cross platform?
There will be no crossplay between the mobile game and the Desktop Edition. PC and Mac players however will be able to compete against each other in multiplayer races.

Q: Will there be DLC?
We are currently focusing on getting the very best game possible ready for PC and Mac players. We aim to have more information on any future content at a later date.

Come up with more terrain for walking, forests, fields...add options for" viewing " horses during a walk, from the first person, for example, make it possible to rotate the camera with the mouse, make a very cool simulator. The opportunity to change clothes, clean horses, wash them. In general, a good start, continue in the same spirit. As an example, castrate horses, which would give them bonuses in a particular category. Add ammunition, bandages, leg wraps, podparcie etc I'm an adult player, but the game is a delight children =)

Thank you, is there a multiplayer option that maybe friends can race with our own horses and even sell/buy and breed with our friends studs etc? I would love to have more options with friends and the multiplayer with this game. Using random horses is not fun as you dont work with these random ones.

Are you guys gonna be adding more meat to this game in the future ? I'm playing the mobile version and I want to get the desktop version.

I do really like the game but 50 bucks is a lot for the content you get, especially when compared to G1 Jockey which I got for like 15 bucks (used mind you). It costs almost as much as a triple A game, but if you're going to be expanding on it going forward I'll gladly pay it.

This game is beautiful but G1 Jockey has more engaging gameplay and more interactive ways to play. It'd be awesome if you could actually train your horse yourself on the track as opposed to pressing a button, and for folks who'd rather skip you could hire an exercise rider.

I really liked how G1 Jockey is day by day based too so you can schedule horses for certain races on certain days, and being able to watch the replays was nice too.

G1Jockey style gameplay + this games graphics and breeding mechanics + a lot more control over your race schedule and managing the ranch would be an amazing simulator. Maybe there could be track records in story mode you could aim for, a triple crown would be awesome too with a more complex, maybe even gritty storyline, Have something important on the line to push you and an interesting story to keep you engaged. I know that's a lot but I'd pay the Triple A price for a game like that.

Though I'd be happy to pay the 50 for more interactive training, a day by day schedule with track records and a way to look back at the career info on yourself and all the horses you've owned, a jockey, trainer & earnings leader board for story mode would be cool too.

But like I said, the game is so pretty and the horses are animated really well, makes it very visually immersive, but the gameplay isn't really up there with the graphics. As a mobile style game it's very good but that doesn't really translate well to console/PC.

Is there a way to see what the actually color of the horse is instead of guessing what you think it is? I would to know what the color of horse wont guessing if it is a buckskin or a palomino.

I don't like the whip and I HATE the SPEED BAR- It makes it hell for everyone- May as well just add the whips but not the speed bar
