What is the eye supposed to do in the bottom-right hand corner of the screen when at my desk?

There's a weird egyptian eye thing in the bottom right, does it do anything?

Yeaaah.. That's our experimental Lore button, it should give more explanations to things but we will likely remove it for the full game because it.. doesn't really.. do anything.. anymore.. Haha. Yes it's pretty embarrassing. Sorry :D
