So a Hentai version of Nier: Automata?
Or what non-indie popular game is the gameplay comparable to?

Edit: tired of the fxcking useless "bUT iTs noT aAA aKtChUaLLy" comments so I changed AAA to non-indie

NieR: Automata is not a AAA game, but yes, it's pretty similar combat wise. Even has the switching camera perspectives too.

wdym not AAA it's from Square Enix, it's definitely not an Indy production
But if it's like Nier I'll check it out, thx m8

Square Enix only published it. Platinum Games is the one that actually developed it, on a shoestring budget too might I add. Same thing with NieR (2010), Square Enix only published it and Cavia (closed down after NieR's release) is the one that developed it on a shoestring budget as well.

Nobody in here claimed that Platinum Games is an indie developer. But NieR:Automata is just an AA game at best, not a AAA game. Yoko Taro's games prior to Automata were never successful ever since he started developing games back in the PS2 era, so Square Enix never gave him the funds or resources for an AAA production, and eventually close down his studios afterwards. Keep in mind that Platinum Games was also on the verge of death at the time, since Bayonetta 2 was the last AAA game they've gotten to work on and they've been barely surviving by developing smaller licensed games ever since.

What I said is true. A game being published by Square Enix doesn't automatically turn it into an AAA game, like how Belyth implied it in a previous comment before you decided to join the thread:

Its also a lot like devil may cry but playing as Nero cause Dante has like a million weapons you can switch to lol

I guess its accurate. Playing it gave me a few vibes. Nier Auto, Assassins Creed Syndicate, Senran Kagura.

It sorta has neir's combat. Its a girl, she has very flashy impactful wispy combat. Alot of style in the moves.

Enemies take forever to kill though which i suppose is either attributed to EA and we will get stronger weapons sometime or is done on purpose so we can see the girls do thier flashy animations. But that sort of style reminded me of Assasins Creed Syndicate where you take forever clubbing people with your cane in similar flashy wispy combat.

Look up the girl's skirt as you move around, in ultimately not an open world but a level divided into sections that are gated off by invisible walls which reminded me of Senran Kagura series. Watch the girl bounce around, get fed exposition as you move through the level, hit a combat section, do the combat and move to the next section till the mission ends.
Kind of hope there is some similar customization/ touch feature.

So i suppose it is more like nier with musou style lvl design.

Id only call it a hentai version if upon defeat the monsters would take the girl for an H scene with them on the battlefield.

The H content is really separate from the game.
you guys talking nier automata without me ?

Oh for Pete's sake, AAA is mostly defined as high budget flagship production for a large amount of profit.
While Nier Automata has good production, a lot of itis deliberately low budget and wasn't marketed that much outside trailers, presentations, and word of mouth. To act like it's on the level of FFVII Remake to them is really silly.

Nier Automata is not AAA. It is medium budget most likely AA.

How do your comments contribute to the question at hand?
So many words and yet you said absolutely nothing.
