Thank you for providing all this information. From the provided information, we can see that your setup is OK.
Can you please tell us more information when is happening the crash? For example:
1. Immediately when you open the cage door
2. When the speech after exiting from the cage is finished
3. Or any other situation/action that you are performing after exiting from the cage
4. Or after X seconds when the door of the cage is opened
These are some points when we are executing specific code in the background so, we want to identify when the problem is happening first, since we didn't change the build from the beginning, and this is the first time to have someone with this problem.
In the meantime, can you please try to do the following actions:
1. Update/Repair your DirectX driver
2. Update/Repair your Graphic card driver
Thank you,
Intetic Team
Per your request I checked for updated drivers for DirectX which is the most current version, and Nvidia Geforce which did have a new version [10-29-20] that I have installed.
I'd love to inform you that this cured the problem but unfortunately it hasn't. I now have a new issue: Game loads, intro video runs, Chapter 1 title fades out to a black screen and then - nothing.
The auto save circle spins for several minutes [over 3 minutes] there is no cursor, ESC key doesn't work, and I have to shut down via the Task Manager.
As for the original issue, the game failed just as the character exited the cage [perhaps 2 steps] and turned to face the cabinet on the left hand wall. I unfortunately can't tell you if the character had finished his thoughts.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for providing these information.
If you updated the graphic card driver, can you please now just do reinstall to DirectX 11 driver, and restart your PC?
Previously also some of the players had exactly the same issue, and he resolved with upgrading the graphic card driver and reinstall DirectX 11 driver.
Please let is know if this helped. If not, we will try to dig more and find potential issue.
Thank you,
Intetic Team
