Having trouble finding the Sun Tarot? Look here!
Hello Wayfarers,

I've heard about two or three people running into an odd glitch, wherein the Sun Tarot refuses to drop from the Scarab Lord. It seems like it may be unique to very particular hardware, and I'm looking into it as best I can. In the mean time—should you be one of the unlucky few—here's a quick-and-dirty solution that I posted on the itch.io page:

--------

1. Open reg edit, and navigate to Software\OleanderGarden\Pagan3

2. Edit the inventory value, adding the string "tarot19" between two adjacent commas (this value is just a list of items by name, separated by commas, so it's hopefully not as opaque as it sounds)

3. Save, and restart the game

--------

Ideally no one else actually needs this, but I thought it would be best to disseminate it as widely as possible—just in case. Best of luck; should you require any assistance on this front, please feel free to post in this thread!

Godspeed Wayfarers,

- Oleander Garden

Even after using the regedit, the sun tarot won't show in my inventory or drop. No clue what to do now, really wanna finish the game

Hmm, but your inventory is still loading fine otherwise? That's very strange.

Would you mind copy + pasting the inventory value here? I can take a look at it and try to see what's gone wrong. One thing to double check — it needs to be lowercase. It should look something like this:

"tarot17,tarot19,shotgun,[etc.]"

An easy way to make sure you get the syntax right is to swap the number on a already existing card in your inventory (i.e. change ",tarot6," to ",tarot19,")

Sincere apologies that you've run into this problem — really wish I could figure out how to reproduce it.

Good idea changing a different tarot card's number to 19, that worked! I must have been messing something up, thanks And I'm just gonna choose to believe using regedit is an intentional artistic choice in this already unique game ;)

The substitution method worked for me. Thank you for help!
