How do we stop items falling through the floor when we place them back down in the first room?

Hallo, Just completed the game with a friend and I have some feedback / how easily / hard we solved it. Basement - I solved the puzzle without reading the wall, I was trying to click the stone in order of their age at the time of their death.... And then we spent 30 minutes trying to order the wall pieces to read the message, the realise we had already solved it, and then figure out what was next. As the title says, we are stuck at the 2D Security Code. It doesnt seem to light up, it only did so twice but disappeared quickly again. The voltage is fine and the temperature is high. ID and the other code is also correct. When should the Code light up? Thanks in advance for the answers....

Having trouble with the Voltage input. I see the 4 battery levels and 0Vmin 10Vmax but I still can't figure out the correct value. Any help?

I think the field of view of the game is too narrow, i got sick and had to stop playing. Also, I couldn't figure out what to do after the daugthers enygma at the begining, i heard a sound when i solved it but can't find what else to do.
