cant pick up shotgun anymore

i played through the whole game once with literally no issues, it was a great expierience. but now im trying to go through and collect all the things ive missed but for some reason i cant pick up shotguns anymore. if i walk up to one and look at it, it doesnt give me a prompt to pick it up and if i hold F, nothing happens. the shotgun in one of if not the most fun weapon to use in this game and the game refuses to let me use them now

i tried that and it didnt work. was playing recently and i was randomly able to pick one up even tho all the other ones in that level wouldnt let me. after that it was fine but then it started doing it with the pistols

Does your mouse have a scroll wheel? I completed Trepang2 without realising your character can carry two sets of weapons!

it hasnt happened in a while but at the time i didnt know you could have multiple weapons so i very well could have just had a shotgun in my other slot and didnt know. Ill lyk if it happens again btw, does the game ever tell you you can do this? i probably had over 50 hours in the demo and had played it since it first came out and had no idea you had 2 weapon slots until i read troshnaks response, btw thanks for that trosh. anyway the game is fantastic and i really hope to see more games from yall

Hey Gavsterman,

Thanks for your reply.

We're glad to hear the issue is resolved (hopefully).

You're able to pick up a second weapon when using the pistol during the tutorial start of the game, you do not drop the pistol so you would have both.
It may also prompt you how to cycle through the weapons when picking these up also but this could easily be missed.
