Forced slide when landing after slide cancel (using crouch button)

When sprinting and tapping crouch to slide and then jumping right after (slide cancel), it forces me to slide again upon landing, even when I release all inputs. Does not do this when using the dedicated slide button, but I really prefer using crouch as it's much more intuitive. Loving the game so far otherwise.
