Why the name?
Why the name Trepang 2?
I saw there is a anicent game Trepang 1 but totally unrelated to this game.
So the question why?

Trepang translates to "Sea Cucumber" and the first game the studio made was about a little cucumber running around. You can dl it for free in their discord. That Trepang1 game is related via the development/studio perspective (probably not via story/lore).
IIRC they kept the name for a mixture of funny and because the game took a completely different direction than a 2D platformer.

it was called trepang2 when it was first created for a game jam, it was a placeholder name, but it was memorable so they kept it.

Anyone else want to see a sea cucumber in-game that you can whack an enemy with? Like, using a wet fish to slap an enemy in the face? I don't even care if it does damage or not...
