Is Rage Mode is easier now?

This might be me but doesn't it seem like the enemies do less damage than before..?
I'd have a full armor and hp and die in like 2 hits but now I see myself tanking 3+ just from armor pickups alone
If they did make rage mode easier I would be...Disappointed, but I feel like this is me being delusional or something.

Didn't feel like it got any easier on my playthrough! Could be enemies carrying the new machine gun. I'm not sure it hits as hard as other weapons, more used for the stagger effect.

Another possibility for you though is maybe you're just getting better! Game gives you thicker skin the more you play

the machine have really bad accuracy and for dmg i dont know much but the taser sure as hell great staggering all enemy inclunding the eod but as it con with very very bad dmg.
staggering eod is good if have powerful burst fire gun cause sword is ineffective with eod armor but with normal unarmored then it a electrifying slice and dice party

Funny, I was thinking they upped the difficulty of the lesser ones. I play on Extreme or Very Hard most of the time but with the DLC it seems like I get rekt a lot more often. May be enemies with the LMG as Zomster suggested. I didn't consider that.
