possibilities of one character in the story... Spoiler Warning!

So i have a good number of hours in this game and there's always been this one lingering question (which may be answered in the DLC i dunno). But we know that a good chunk of the "Bosses" are previous Subjects/Cycles that broke free of Task Force 27 now what about Vox? Is Vox just a standard AI for Horizon or is it the AI for Task Force 27 or is it a past Subject or Cycle in the form of an AI and not possessing a proper body like 105, 106 and 107?

it's one of those questions that keeps drilling the back of my skull as it almost acts neutral to 106 not entirely helping him but not wanting him dead either unless the Subject in Site 83 was controlling Vox and wanted 106 to survive and started using Vox as their voice...

the crystal is speaking through the vox yes, hence why it says "find me" then when you get to the crystal it says "you have arrived at your destination"
