is it like... cycles they still need to destroy? or places of interest? or probably some easter egg
well, im gonna grab the "last" achievements now that i can get with normal difficulty, i deserve that after extreme mode
not even gonna try rage mode
The patriarch fight was enough for me on extreme… but I am willing to try a few levels on rage mode
We will see
Some intel seems to support this line of thinking. Though, I don't think Horizon teared off from the Syndicate more so that Anton did, and formed Horizon similarly to how the patriarch formed his cult. As to how Anton survived... I imagine he survived in the same way Subject-106 survived standing next to a thermonuclear warhead as it detonated. Cloning!
Another possibility is it's just a coincidence, and it's not actually Anton's voice.
Additionally, I think the syndicate are the ones creating the subjects, and Horizon is simply containing them. A log from a black ops mission say they find a 5x5m box, which likely houses Subject-97-01. The report details the black ops team infiltrating a farm, at which Syndicate operatives were hidden. I know the director tells 106 that it's horizon, but then again... Why would they tell the truth? That would just turn 106 against them.
Alternatively, it could've been a recovery mission. But the log doesn't say they found Subject-97-01, it says they found a 5x5m box. I would infer they didn't know the contents until later.
1st, why are you dying in moment when Anton finish his mind transport? Are you poisoned by Syndicate as a punishment for your failure or what this means?
Why you, very useful and faithful dog of Syndicate, should be terminated after all just cause you finished one important task? This is crazy wasting of living trained material which efectively proved its qualities. Makes a sense only in case they have absolutely unlimited sources, discretion has the highest priority for them and their naive human personal always end contract by retirement, permanent one in the oven. But still very odd. I saw about twenty, maybe more clones only and most of them was quite unefective, so why they want to destroy their best prototype?
Difference between this ending and normal one? I want to see normal one too.
How can I get "normal" ending when I already finished game?
the syndicate doesn't care for their subjects, they're just tools to make ends meet for them. 105 being used to free 106, 106 being used to bring down the rogue subjects, etc.
making a new subject to improve upon the last instead of just modifying the existing one might be more cost-effective, plus allows more than one subject to exist with their own roles
And then what it was? After nuke I wake up somewhere and end, pretty unoriginal btw, in that moment achiev (One more mission or so) popped up on screen.
Barely 6% of players got it, its even less than players which completed very hard so I bet its not standard end.
But maybe im wrong, come on, tell me the difference. Whats that new stuff if not wake up?
