"Should be around 10 hours for the average gamer!"

there's a horde mode and infinite replayability if the demo is anything to go by

Doesn't seem like the kind of game that should be measured by it's "length", they say 5 campaign missions (guessing they'll be 30 - 60 minutes each?) + 8 side missions (probably 20 - 30 minutes) + there is horde mode as well and 6 difficulty settings and cheats that mix up the gameplay. I imagine it may be under 10 hours on a low difficulty like normal if all you want to do is play things once, but if you want to play on higher difficulties, with some cheats for kicks, mix up game play style, etc I am certain one can get dozens of hours of fun out of this. Won't be a full priced game either... But, if you are disappointed by the length, you can also wait and get it on sale. There is zero reason to avoid games simply because "too short".

I hate when people prefer quantity over quality.
F.E.A.R. is 8 hours but i've replayed it loads of times.

People beat FEAR on average in 8 hours: https://howlongtobeat.com/game/3293. So you've got no idea what you're talking about.

FEAR can be beaten in under 8 hours if you're ambitious enough.

I think I've beaten it around 4 to 6.
Granted that was like my 15th or so playthrough and I know it like the back of my hand.

I beat F.E.A.R 1 in around 6 hours on my first and only playthrough.
I spent another 4 on each of the two DLCs.

A good chunk of that time was spent fighting the video settings.

there is a length for casuals/first time ppl and there's a length for ppl who know how to play shooters/solve puzzles.

You can cut down like a good 40% of the expected length of any game if you immediately click with it and know what to do.
