Anyway, getting more on topic:
The game is perhaps simply "more" or "bigger" than the Demo (Which should still be the 2022 build that I think they're hoping to update to catch up with the release version's bells & whistles), but it's got a couple of tricks of it's own and the remainder of the game's arsenal in the retail release could make the difference for you (Assuming you like dual-wielding Grenade Launchers with massive splash-damage, a Minigun with "Smart Rounds", a "VK-12 with Dragon's Breath rounds" and releasing "Rat Bombs").
No harm in waiting a bit, though. A post-launch patch is on it's way with a few quality of life improvements (A 'Sprint [Toggle]' option chief among them) and some free additions including Weapon Paintjobs (Which range from being as sensible as CADPAT Camouflage or as silly as Source-Engine Missing Textures), a few additions or gap-fillers in Uniform unlocks and five extra Simulation arenas.
The added story, more varied levels, and weapons in the full game really gives the game more life than that short demo. In short, the full game is a lot better.
Once you let go of that expectation, you'll start having fun with its combat and movement system, which is based on F.E.A.R., but uses the Doom Eternal gameplay loop where you have to keep up the aggression in order to maintain stamina and bullet time. It's MUCH more frantic. Very little of FEAR's cat&mouse gameplay
