Are people cheating their achievements?
I see that the rage mode achievement for completing all main and side missions has 0.7% completion from players, but there have been less who have gotten all intel in all missions?

I just find it hard to believe that more people have actually completed the game on rage mode than collected all of the intel lol

I've finished several missions on rage but still haven't gotten all intel from them. I'll probably do easy intel runs later, it's not that straight forward as killing anything that moves

Intel is long, laborious and requires a guide. Rage is simple and comparatively easy, more fun, and doesn't require a guide. Makes sense to me

The game is good, it's addictive. No, people actually are getting them. Do you even realize how rare a good game is these days. The game is probably the best fps title in the past 3 years and people are eating it up.

Rage mode is nearly impossible for me to complete hahahaha I can barely even finish a mission even after doing very hard 12+ hours in

Hacking missions on rage difficulty must be a nightmare, especially Singapour Iron dragoon. I struggled to finish it on very hard despite the game forbid you to use shotgun for some stupid reason.

you're doing great compared to me, i can't even kill the first wave of zombies on normal difficulty lol. also i'm trying to collect all intel without consulting guides, it's my 4th time on Pandora Institute and I got 25/26 ..painful :') it's very well hidden

both achievements are insane to me tbh hehe

I don't even know how I did very hard with the boss fights, honestly lol. I did all of the bosses on my first try and that felt like it was out of luck hahahahaha, like 1hp left and I killed them before someone landed a hit on me at the last second kind of luck

The entire time I played through the game I just kept imagining how impossible it'd be on rage mode, I couldn't comprehend doing some parts of the game on it. Especially Jarvik Castle, omfg

Once all weapons are unlocked I could finish all sides missions on extreme and guess what ? I gave up at the patriarch in Jarvik Castle... I assume that average players accustomed to FPS can't even think about finish this game on rage difficulty.

so you are comparing the will to go through the hassle of collecting completely useless crap vs the skill needed to play a shooter on its highest "difficulty"

I also would find it hard to believe that someone can win a pokemon world championship without having collected all of them first

People cheating? In a video game? No. Never.
SoundOfDarkness Jul 1, 2023 @ 6:43am
I guess quite a few of them didn't cheat but got the rage mode achievement by accident, like me. After beating the game I downloaded a save file to unlock all cheats, because I knew I could never unlock some of them by playing normally. I only used the "unlocks" file of the downloaded save and it worked, but it seems this file also includes the beaten difficulty info. After using that file I played one mission with a few in-game cheats. Even though cheats should lock all achievements and playing with cheats counts as easy mode I got all 4 difficulty achievements at once.
burgerbait Jul 1, 2023 @ 6:56am
Does that count as an exploit? The game encourages exploits in one of the difficulty descriptions.

I'm just saying, the game just came out and almost 1% of players had already beaten the game on rage mode not even on day 2, whereas something simple like getting intel was way low on completion. That doesn't add up at all. I refuse to believe rage mode is so "easy" that almost 1% of people knocked it out in a day, that's a ton of people.
