Love the game, but last boss is bad. (spoiler obviously)

I have been having a blast with this game from the start, and enjoying every second of it. I am sorry tho, the last boss is just terrible.. I am playing on higher difficulties, but still. The difficulty spike is ridiculous.. I am being shot at constantly, with very little health or ammo anywhere, while also having to somehow shoot a helicopter that moves away from me constatly, and much faster. Somehow take down the helicopter before getting my bain taken over? Yeah this is probably easy for people who are great at multitasking, but this is too much. Just give me one dude to shoot at please.

Have you found the grenade launcher? It's pretty easy to destroy it with it + bullet time

You're given a minigun before the helicopter spawns. A single belt will destroy it before any additional enemies spawn. If you ever even see any enemy other than the helicopter in that part, you are too slow

They enemies keep coming as i kill them. Has nothing to do with slow, they are infinite.

I tried shooting the heli with that, but only did small damage. Not even 25%

You can still kill them, maybe you're triggering the boss before killing all enemies? Try to kill everyone on level and then pick up breaching charge

Lmao it's hard. Its Horizon's last-ditch effort to kill you and save their CEO.

That's why the men have orange eyes they are all genetically modified to see you through walls when you are not cloaked.

I thought it was okay. Maybe having the CEO mutant himself into something crazy would have been even better when he failed at transferring his mind.

For the brain cases use duel smg's or shotguns to break the glass and the ammo for those will come from any soldiers you kill.

You can kill the helicopter before the first wave comes. If there are enemies left from waves before the helicopter, you should clear them out first. That's where you'll get the minigun to instakill the heli as soon as it spawns. With the minigun and focus, it goes down in about 120 shots, long before the first additional wave spawns, even on rage

Ok i beat helicopter. Figured out there was a grenade launcher in a spot, and ended it when i found it. Made it harder than it needed tobe. Great game, but last boss was still eh. Thats only 0.5% of the game tho.

last boss is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. the helicopter keeps moving around and its really hard to hit when youre being shot at from all directions and all your stamina and bullet-time is constantly depleted from trying to deal with them. I'm playing on hard, which was actually not very difficult throughout most of the campaign, but at this level it's just absurd.
"It's their last ditch effort, of course it should be hard!" isn't an excuse for level that plays badly and just frustrates the player.

I rarely feel the need to comment but dear god this one boss ruined the entire game for me. I know that sounds a bit hyperbolic but this is what is going to stick with me about this game over everything else.

It is so bad I finally said screw this and just watched the rest of the game on YouTube.

I freely admit that I am not good at these games which is why I play on casual and I still couldn’t beat it. I didn’t die once the entire game and I’ve died 9 times on this one section. I’ve read all the tips on here, I have tried using the grenade launcher and still can’t do it.

Could I eventually push through and beat it? Probably, but at this point just do not care enough to do so. I have no desire to “get good” because the entire reason I play on casual is to have mindless fun, which I was doing up until this point.
