But you are right, i want the funny Gore while trying to beat Rage Mode
Stop trying to turn this Game into another generic semi-realistic CoD Clone
Just enjoy the Game for what it is, is that too much to ask for?
Even FEAR let you "zoom" most of the weapons for more precise shots.
-Says said Game sucks
-Wants it to be a CoD Clone instead (which is a Game for the mentally Challenged)
You f*cking Clown
Or maybe let people play game as they want to? Everyone can have their own play style.
It's not a multiplayer game so why do you care?
best course of action imo, dont force everyone to use ADS, but for those who want it, let it be an option without preventing progression
I guess we would call it something like R.A.C.O (RAGE, All Cheats On), or if such challenge-increasing cheats were recategorised as "Challengers", then I guess R.A.C.E (RAGE, All Cheats/Challengers Enabled) or T.R.A.C.E (TREPANG² RAGE, All Cheats/Challengers Enabled). People out there are already performing Rage Deathless (or "Rage God", I think might've been what folks in the Discord were calling it) runs, so why not give them something even crazier to try?
As for the calls for ADS that I frankly wish I knew the reason(s) for the demand for... perhaps go the Black Mesa route of providing a "Classic Zoom" option for all weapons and having the 'All Weapon ADS' as the "Modern Zoom" option. But then I'm sure a lot of people will be asking for a 'Lean' system to play the game more like F.E.A.R at it's less ridiculous moments, so people who aren't playing this game fast & frenetically as intended will probably still be left unhappy. That, or a good amount of people who wanted 'All Weapon ADS' get it and then suddenly go "Why no Optics for all weapons?" when they find the mostly-true-to-life iron-sights are too obstructive for their preferences.
Maybe even handled like Halo with its skulls, showing that you've beaten a level on Rage Mode with No Reload and High Stakes Focus activated too, or something. I did find it weird that some of the ones that make the game harder without any reasonable change to the layout and set up of a mission would disable progression like that.
- doesn't know that GOG exists
- uses strawman arguments because he's unable to come up with actual ones
lol, why are you so obsessed with ironsights = COD my man. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Trespasser had ironsights, is that also a COD clone you clown
Maybe arguing that the game is practically a COD clone isn't the smartest idea because apparently you enjoy playing games for mentally handicapped people then.
I don't want to ADS, but I felt really frustrated with how wide the crosshair bloom is on near EVERY weapon, and it basically forced me to spam slow motion to make what would be basic shots in any other game, or just hard-carry weapons where accuracy doesn't matter (shotgun, grenade launcher), or where accuracy is EXTREMELY high (the harpoon gun-thing).
I'm not saying it's invalid game design, I had a lot of fun for the most part. But in some cases this design decision really, really chafed. Mostly in the house in the field (forgive me, as I've forgotten the name of the level), but the penthouse battle also had this problem to a degree.
That said, once again, I don't need ADS. Either a hip-zoom like FEAR or hell, just a bit tighter crosshairs in general would be nice, at least for the assault rifle.
Hip-zoom would also make sense seeing how right now the only weapons with a "zoom" feature are those with optics.
And seeing how ADS is already in the game and working I honestly don't see what the issue with requesting to make it an option instead of a "cheat".
