Anyone figure out how long you have to go to get HVT Whitman in the Iron Dragon mission?

I went up to wave 6 with all 3 hacks done for 2 whole waves and he didn't come out.


Edit : It's inconsistent as hell, I had to not hack so he'd come out, people are reporting getting him within 3-5 waves, some saying difficulty makes him come sooner, while I went 13+ on extreme with nothing.

Big thing to give here? Just keep trying. I got him finally after not doing the final hack at wave 9, I'm sure eventually he'll spawn for others.

Went to wave 13 and nothing, he said he'd "move in" while it was transitioning to Wave 8 but then no one showed up. Maybe you can't finish all hacks? would be dumb if so, testingtime.

Same here. I even tried a second time and he stopped playing voice lines at like wave 6 and still didn't show up.

Found out, It happened at wave 9 but DO NOT finish the hacks until he shows up is how I got him to spawn. Dunno if it's just a chance to break if hacks are done or if it's consistent but I just left the final hack alone until he showed.

I finished all hacks first then sweated till wave 9 for him to appear. Also a friendly advice, if you're going to eliminate Rama, be prepared for hell.

Wave 6? 9? Don't hack, hack? This sounds like a bug, or something way too niche that we don't even know we're doing to 'trigger' it. But glad to know I'm not alone in scratching my head about that one.

I got him by cheesing it on easy after failing to survive on very hard like 6 times. I spawned in, completed all hacks as quick as I could. After all hacks there were two waves after and on the third one he decided to join in.

It's definitely a bug. People are reporting getting him early via hacking, I had to not hack to get him, etc. I guess he just decides when to spawn for some reason. I think safest bet is minimum wave 10, if he isn't showing up when you do all hacks then try not hacking. Hope you're lucky?

On my end it was Wave 9, I recommend killing him on Easy as wave 6-8 are very difficult on Very Hard and harder

I think I got him on wave 9 or 10 as well. I completed all hacks by wave 5, if I remember correctly.

Hi, i dont know if higher difficulties affects hes spawn rate, but i did the mission in rage mode and he appeared like in wave 2 or 3.

I went for him in Extreme and got him on wave 8.

I did not finish the hacks beforehand. I started the final hack, and just let the specialists pause it for me until he appeared.

Whitman does seem to appear even if you've completed the hacks - it's just that he's very inconsistent in which particular wave he shows up in.

So for me i did the hacks first got that done about round 4/5. I finished round 9 and he stated that he is "coming out" and did at round 10.
