Do you think they will add more areas, or a dlc to follow on with more areas.😊
Not sure. Game has not received an update since it was released. I do think that the game is good, there should just be more of it. Try out the demo.
It's just a shame it's not a little longer, but is there a trepang 1 ?
I would say there isn't a singular answer to your question.
If you just do a single playthrough I can imagine it being around 5-6 hours (perhaps a little more or less, depending on your manner of skill and rushing or taking it more slow).
If you wish to try harder difficulties later, you can multiply that number by two or more.
If you like the gameplay enough to play the Combat Simulator (wave survival) levels, you can easily add some hours to potentially another couple dozen hours for doing them all and progressing through the difficulties there too.
So in short the answer would be: anywhere varying from a couple hours up to dozens of hours depending on how much you like the game and are open to replay it and/or play the combat simulator because you just love the gameplay.
As for the price, in my opinion it's fair for the quality delivered. With the gun-/gameplay being the main star for me, it's also simply half the price of AAA full blown spectacle titles, which in case of FPS linear campaigns may offer a more complete story around double the amount of hours (again, at double the price).
Plus games are great value in general when it comes to "$/hour" amounts compared to most other hobbies. The same goes for Trepang2 at its least amount of hours, which would be around $5/hour at the estimates above. However, if it has that specific worth for you (especially compared to other games you may be looking to buy) is something ultimately only you can figure out.
Hope this helps, all the best
Saw this after, this is not (yet) a game series, so this is the first and only installment at the moment (you can view Trepang2 as being Trepang1
Kind Regards
Overall I feel like the game's combat and mechanics make it replayable enough to justify the price. I really wish there were more campaign missions though as well as workshop support.
Now I'm replaying to find the rest of the weapon attachments and hidden drones and kill all the High Value Targets (HVTs)
