The spas 12 in the game is really good and well animated but the reload animation is incorrect.

It's not surprising that the Spas 12's reload is incorrect because many games got it wrong. It doesn't mean the reload animation is bad. I thought it looks good but it's not correct. The user needs to press and hold the button on the left side of the gun (The carrier latch button) so he or she can put the shells in the gun. Will that change in the demo and/or final release?

Creator of the video here. It does bother me a tiny bit when they got it incorrect but I understand that it's a stylistic game and I'm okay with it. It's not meant to be realistic. I wish there's a mod for a realistic reload though

P.S. I just finished the entire full game on Rage Mode difficulty and I'm having a blast on it

While this is indeed true, and something I myself pointed out in another topic, I would say that considering the fact that we have slow-mo, the ability to go invisible, dual wield almost every weapon in the game, we have mutated monsters chasing us around, we even have the backrooms themself.... the SPAS-12 reload is the least unrealistic thing in the game.

I wish it could reload like in Hitman 2 Silent Assassin. In that game, you could fire the shotgun as fast as you could pull the trigger, and reloading it involved simply pumping the shotgun once, instantly loading a new set of 8 shells.

This being a stealth game, of course.
