Pls add a function for disabeling blood and gore

I really really like this game but I would like to turn the gore and blood off. I have my reasons why I would like to turn it off.

You know what I mean, maybe someone wants to have a nice shooter experience, without looking at bloody dead bodyies that dont have any legs left.

Maybe the developers will see that the discussion is Nr.1 in the ranking and add blood and gore options.

I put carnage on max and add the cheat for more gore lol...

In grand theft AUTO cars are an important part for the gameplay.
Blood/gore are graphical details that are'nt gamebreaking.
Ok if you like to see your enemie explode and loose two legs and one arm ok then its important for you but, if you dont like it you should be able to disable blood/gore.
It doesnt affect the gameplay.
Nobody cares about graphics, L4d2 is a great game with horrible graphics and everybody loves it.

Bro ofcourse I do'nt want to shoot baloons like in Bloons TD6
I do'nt say that you are curious, I would also choose green but,
there are some people that do'nt want any blood/gore.
(for example Bloodphobic people)
Maybe they also want to have fun shooting people but,
they dont want to see blood splatter the whole room.

And btw L4d2 has a low violence mode that is supported by valve itself.
The Ac and CoD franchice has a turn off Blood/Gore option and nobody complains.
The option to turn off the Blood/Gore is there why not?

Okay, thanks for the replies. Since there is an option, then someone needs it.
PS - I'm glad you're choosing green blood instead of completely turning it off in the case of aliens. :D

It's on our to do list but no guarantees, we still have a lot of work to do. It may have to wait until a post launch patch but we will probably get to it sometime

any progress on this .???? The gore settings wasnt in the demo and the lack of it is only thing stopping few of my friends from getting the game
