Very Very Cool!!! +100500 !!!I Like it !!!
1-st F.E.A.R. my lovely FPS game!!!
@wilson You shouldn't just try it, just do it! Trepang 2 in VR would be a must for many who own a headset! The whole VR community is waiting for developers who have the courage to bring these full 3D titles to the right hardware to experience full immersion.
I also tried -vr for a short time and the immersion is there immediately despite the massive graphic errors, because you also implemented physics of the objects and textures and light effects look very cool. Just having the right proportions in VR combined with this fast action would finally be something that goes in the direction of Doom VFR and shows that VR is definitely fast.
And if you look at the G2 pre-orders the trend is clear. Playing your game with such a headset in VR, I wouldn't show up again so fast :) . But anyway, with all current headsets (Rift S, Valve Index, Oculus Quest,... ) it would be great!
The first F.E.A.R. was so brilliant and it's the first time I see a game that brings back these strengths, just please don't have those flat experiences like so many developers. VR is ready, do something for it!
Yes please!!!
At least leave the compatibility that is already there open so we can enjoy it in VR until you finish the game and after that you can check to add it officially.
UE4 supports VR so please, add the VR support later :)
Instant buy on day 1 on my case, and you will bring a new wave of VR players that will absolutely love this game in VR
Cheers!
...But if not will be VR... I buy it anyway!)))
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEES
'Make it in VR'... its not that simple.
If it was built from the start for VR, that's a different story. But just flipping the VR switch doesn't work.
a lot of games with UE fine works in VR just with argument " -vr" !!! like and previos Demo of Trepang2

Virtual Reality is incredible on how extrapolates the experience, it would be great to add it later when you feel the game is more stable.
Also maybe is going to be easier to add the 3D support first, without any VR controls and play the game as it is by now, but being able to play it with the headset and enjoy it in glorious 3D depth and Virtual reality freedom to look around and everything in real scale.
Then if you see a way to add FULL VR support that will simply be an ABSOLUTE HIT to play with TRUE aiming skills with real pulsse from the players.
Thank you !!! I will check from time to time to see any news regarding VR support.
KEEP IT UP!!
And cheers for the game !
