Five 99 CAC

Is it possible to get a 5 99 outside of the event school. Otomo is great for getting easy SSS, but they are awful for Friendships with the event going. Specialist's Honor is useless and the 20% bump isn't close to the same. So I keep ending up in a situation where I can get a 5 99 CAC but can't get all the skills I want.

So to clarify, the game considers a volley as any shot animation that triggers from a long pass, example: Tailwind Pass to Neo Tiger Shot would be a Direct Shot but Tailwind to Completed Animation to Neo Tiger Shot would not?

Something like that. The only proper direct special shot in this game is Nitta's *Falcon Shot.

Do skills like Assist Maker and Miracle Assist require the passing animation to complete in order to trigger or will the work if you charge the shot during the animation?

Miracle Assist and Last Pass do not require the charge bar to be filled.

What all affects Kickback Cannon? Is it just stats and shot power skills or do block power skills help too?

As far as I know Kickback Cannon in this game is considered as combo shot and it is not affected by any shot skills (especially those combo focused).

I think Kickback Cannon is direct shot. Xiao has No-trap shooting skill making me wonder about this. Please explain why it's considered as combo shot.

Mostly based on Xin's storytelling because well it does require other player involvement in order to perform this shot and also because some combo skills mention Kickback Cannon in ther description.
