Can someone help?
Hi! I played this game for around 170 hours, but then it just stopped working. I click play, and wait. The easy anticheat loads then a large window opens. The window starts off white then loads into a black screen. The window then is shrinks into a smaller window, after a couple of seconds, it crashes without an error. I have tried a lot of things the last couple of days but nothing seems to work (I have about 10 hours of ingame time since it stopped working}. So i was hoping one of you might know. I couldn't find anything on any forum.

Also nothing changed on my computer when it stopped working, and nothing changed since. (except for driver updates)

Edit: I forgot to add, I am on windows 10.

Edit: I would also like to say that i don't know the root of the problem at all. But, if I were to guess, it might be because I enabled fullscreen. but that still doesn't make sense. If you know how to revert the graphical settings please tell me. Again this could be no where near the real problem.

Hi,

I forgot where are the files where you can change the resolution and windows mode.
Maybe you need to force the program to launch in windows mode.

Steam_Folder\steamapps\common\Captain Tsubasa Rise of New Champions\GameData

0. Try to create a new shortcut of CAPTAIN TSUBASA RISE OF NEW CHAMPIONS.exe

1.Right-click or tap-and-hold the shortcut for the computer game you want to play in windowed mode.

2.Select Properties.

3.In the Shortcut tab, in the Target: field, add -window or -w at the end of the file path. If one doesn't work, try the other.

4.Select OK.

Method 2 :
try Alt + Enter at the launch of the game.

Method 3 :
Try the program named DxWnd

Source : https://www.lifewire.com/computer-game-windowed-mode-837057

Method 4 :

Open your Steam Library
From a game's library page, select Manage > Properties.
On the General tab you'll find Launch Options section.
Enter the launch options you wish to apply (be sure to separate each code with a space).
Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

Launch Options :
-windowed or -sw - Forces the engine to start in windowed mode.
-w <width> - Forces the engine to start with resolution set to <width>.
-h <height> - Forces the engine to start with resolution set to <height>. This launch option does not need to be set in the presence of -w. The width value will determine the height automatically.

I can't tell you if it will work

Thanks a lot for your suggestions, I tried them all now. It didn't fix the problem. I am starting to think that full screen wasn't the problem since none of those worked.

I suppose that i will just try to figure it out on my own, it'll be near impossible for someone to fix this without knowing the problem. If I do fix it I will document how in case anyone has this problem in the future. Thanks for the help

Quick question, if i reset my progress will I lose the event cards/limited emblems? Because that's my last resort
AsuraBoomKiller May 6, 2021 @ 1:11pm
Backup your data
%APPDATA%\Captain Tsubasa Rise of New Champions\Savedata\

I don't know if you will lose all your cards/emblems...

Yeah, I'm backing up my local files right now

Hi! I finally resorted to deleting my save progress and it worked! I lost my friend cards but the emblems/event cards stay. So I didnt really lose anything TOO important.

hey derpidiah. i have same trouble with you, that my tsubasa game is always crash, can you teach me how to fix it?
Derpediah May 19, 2021 @ 3:25pm
you need to delete your save data. if you are using windows, you can find it under C:/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/Captain Tsubasa Rise of New Champions.
when you go to that directory, i would recommend copying the Appdata folder to somewhere else as a backup (You can put in the downloads folder for example)
and then delete the original Appdata folder. (make sure that cloud saving for the game is Disabled on steam)
Launch the game and it should work.
(you will lose most of your progress like custom characters and story progress)

why we have to save the appdata as a backup, while our progress will lost ?
