Though about the difficulty. Does the game icnrease after each successful match or rather after each completed run? Im refering to your first comment.
Far as I can tell, the more S's you get in your results, the harder the next match will be.
At 3 stars, Italy will build their v-zone meter easier and Hernandez WILL use his special block.
And yeah, it's hard but if you can keep Italy from the ball as much as possible, their v-zone will not build as fast. Easier said than done, though.
That would probably explain my match vs brazil. Carlos was seriously unstoppable. I barely won against them. It ended 5 - 4 for me.
I was thinking about that, because I had my best run yet. I had several SSS matches for my character, which I don't have very often. So the game has a dynamic difficulty setting?
I did manage to beat them with 1-0 after like 8 re-tries.
And I wonder how you get S in shots?
I only get A for scoring 2 goals but I get SS for 3 goals.
The most efficient way to get S+ in shots is by scoring. You get points for shots on the goal, but you get most of the points in shooting, by scoring. Best way to do it is by weaking the GK with strong shooters like Hyuga and Tsubasa and after the GK has barely any spirit left, let your main character score. My second run was really so much better than my first run. I created a FW player character. Pushing your power level did the trick for me and also having Hyugas Tiger Shot. To my surprise I got Ruscianos Curtain Shot, even though I could only level him to rank B. Having a super shot really helps a LOT in achieving SS or even SSS rank in shooting. My second FW is currently able to deplete 80% of Mullers spirit gauge.
Yeah, that is my strat. Weakening the goalie with other, more powerful players and then score with my own character. I also use shots like slice shot and analyze shot to score from their "sweet spots" in the midfield so the ball flies past the goalie.
But I found it strange that 2 goals gives me A rank and 3 goals gives me SS rank.
S in shots, score 3 goals minimum.
SS, score 3 if you've shot enough times, 4 gets it guaranteed.
SSS score 5 if you've shot enough times, 6 gets it guaranteed.
It's because you shot enough times in addition to scoring. Sometimes you can score 3 and only be on S because you still only shot 3 and scored 3. If you shoot 5-6 times and score 3, then you have SS.
I'm aiming for a DF character on the Musashi Road. I usually ended up getting D ranks on passes and tackles, which sadly resulted in my FW not getting any good long passes.
Okay, I see. So I just have to keep bombarding the goal. Thanks!
I tend to play very selfish, I always pass back to my created DF and try to play as a playmaker, basically play as a MF and get the multi-role skill. That got me an 150+ cost DF.
OOf. I usually go with Toho when I do a DF run. Musashi can be tricky, as no one on your team except for Misugi can really score and as a DF, you're not really supposed to be on that job. Worse, in the Toho match you have no Misugi to bail you out, sometimes it can be hard to get the SS required to fulfill the Great Success.
That said, the whole idea of raising a DF is so you can use them later, presumably, against other human players. So anything that increases block power and range, like the Wall skills and Wakado Karate from Wakashimazu, as well as Lucky Boy from Morisaki all good skills to put on your defenders.
Cost means nothing. I'd rather have a lower cost player with better skills than one that costs a lot but isn't as effective. Since you're not planning to score with your defenders, it makes them cheaper and thus easier to put on your Dream Team if you just put the necessary defensive skills on them and don't bother with super shots and combo shots with them.
