Thanks for asking! The game was actually developed by the same person behind the Momotaro Dentetsu series, so the concept of the game is very similar, albeit he added different game mechanics to make it different from the Momotaro Dentetsu series (such as adding monster followers).
If you're familiar with the Momotaro Dentetsu series, then this game should be very easy to get into. The biggest difference I would say is that the Momotaro Dentetsu series has a very robust amount of cards you can use to affect game play. For Billion Road it has that element, but instead of stacking it all into the cards, the monsters that follows you acts as those cards in a way they can affect your game play both good and bad.
