Shroom Farms
This is another installment of "I have no idea what I'm doing! Please send help!"

This time I've attempted to look more deeply at mushroom farms. Apparently when making these farms they come with walls which is cool because why not? So once my farm is built I decide that I want to add some irrigation for my mushrooms and thus edit my farms to add some small 1x1 areas for my canals. Once the actual farm has the appropriate 1x1 squares carved out I try to build a canal... and nothing happens. Apparently you can't build a canal inside of a building which makes total sense... unless you need that canal because how else do you irrigate your mushroom farms? Do I need to make some skylights over my canals?

Also, what the heck is the skill stat on the farm information menu? There is no hover over popup telling me what "Skill" is or how to improve it. I'm guessing that is has something to do with how long my civs have been working on this particular farm?

I will work on clarifying farming next major update. Water can't be inside mountains because of restrictions. You can however skip the walls and build a canal adjacent to the farm.

I'm contemplating allowing water being on the inside of buildings next patch. But I haven't decided if it's worth the effort.

Skill is the skill the workers has put in. It's a good thing.

Wait, so mushroom farms can be outdoors? I thought they're supposed to require darkness in order to grow properly.

They can be outdoors, cause you build walls and a ceiling for them!

Yeah but that'd still be indoors. I was asking about the "skip the walls" part, like, are the walls and/or ceiling even needed at all?

You can build them outdoors 0o I never tried because I also thought they need the darkness :D

Yet again, shrooms grow in a terrible rate in relation to everything else - but they dont seem to need sowing and tiling every time.

Do shroomes get multible harvestcycles? As of now I never build them, because they seem utterly useless in all 3 of my games so far.
