is it any different from earlier versions? I've updated the underlaying framework, so that might be causing some issues. What OS are you on?
I'm on Windows 11. I assume it wasn't like this before as it was something I immediately noticed very clearly when booting up the new beta.
Well that's annoying. The framework I'm using is beyond my paygrade, and updating it always fixes some issues and breaks something else. Some bugs gets fixed in time by driver and windows updates, while some persists, because there are very few users. It would be very helpful if you could check out the previous version, just to check if the framework update is the culprit. Also, what screen setting are you using when running the game?
I've been troubleshooting a similar issue (also on Windows 11) where mouse movement is cumbersome/slow, but without an obvious explanation from mouse DPI settings, performance, or refresh rate. Consequently, none of the launcher settings were helpful in resolving the issue.
What *did* help my problem was disabling fullscreen optimizations on the game executable in the install directory (right click SongsOfSyx.exe > Properties > Compatibility > check "Disable fullscreen optimizations"). See the following screenshot for a visual:

I hope this helps! I love the game, but given the fairly small UI elements (and my terrible coordination), the sluggish mouse movements were really hurting my experience.
