Religious Conversion (Forced or Otherwise)
Can subjects convert from garbage religions (that require expensive or human sacrifices) to the based religion (that requires me to sacrifice a cow or something once in a while)?

This requires a temple. Basically you can disallow worship of specific deities and simply build a temple to the one you want. Given sometime the population will start to follow the God of said temple and you'll have a primary religion with very few followers of the others. Also as a random aside, the price of sacrifices should give you an idea of which Religion is the most beneficial. (I mean if you want better redneck farmers or some minor combat buffs vs literally all industries/education resulting in more boosts to all industries which turns your empire in an absolute industrialized war machine with an iron death grip on all commerce and military action, by all means.)

it would also be fun if you could persecute people based off of religious beliefs as a response to holy war

What if good races converting to evil gods could make them less hostile to and towards evil races and vice versa?
also switch dread/awe requirements

Build temples and they will convert people to the religion of the temple. But this only changes the religious believes, not the other requirements of the races.

Imo, could be cool if, parallel to religion, there could also be something like culture. That would actualy affect the preferences, humans would obviously be the most moldable.
