combat suggestion (for the creator)
a easy way to make it so if you win in combat but take heavy losses , a percent of your army could turn into wounded people who need to be treated. this could open up and entire medical system where faberic is used to make mecial suppies and med tents for war

just a shallow thought (didnt think about it for long) but it could be cool

(edit) after some more thought there could even be two or even three injury states, wounded, heavely wounded , and injured each with there own percentage of recovery. maybe something like injured 80% recovery chance, wounded 50% chance and heavely wounded being 10% , there could also be a hospital and medical collage to train combat medics

Usually, being severely wounded in a time like this usually meant your death in any case.
What I would like to see though is soldiers that have been hit but didn't die are injured and require medical attention when back in the city.
Of course, the game would need to keep track of hit soldiers then. I wouldn't want a magical/RNG % of my army to turn into wounded soldiers.

A bit offtopic, but could someone explain to me how combat casualties and army sizes are supposed to work at the moment?

1. If you win a battle, it seems like you take zero casualties even if they "died" during combat. Is this correct? At least when I was attacked and fought and won, I didnt' notice any population losses.

2. What's up with the total population and army pool? At first I thought maybe a single dude in your city represented a larger amount of population (considering you have thousands of population to draft from, even if you only got a few hundred actual population in the city), but if I raise armies what I got available doesn't seem to have anything to do with my actual population. For example, I have Garthrimis available if I want to raise an army, but I have 0 Garthrimis as part of my actual city. The only thing I could think of is that it's just whatever happens to live in the area where your city is. But it seems weird that your few dozen dudes have absolute control over tens of thousands of people.
