Yes, as well as bakers, metal workers and miners.
Also just a tip: Put houses near workplaces so the workers use them, they only pick housing if it is nearby to their work area. It also helps that Dondorians like noise and most of the places they like working in are often noisy.
never did a garthimi playthrough yet, but want to try one next.
the dendorians are well at crafting/mining, even if I don't have any mines right now in my 3.5k city. My coal/iron needs I've solved via conquering other provinces and setting up a production there.
Dendorians solo are kinda tough, since you don't get a reproduction building and they are bad at producing food. What I've also done some versions ago was humans + dendorians (~70/30) without slavery. that was also working fine.
