High Happiness and Loyalty, yet no Immigration
I'm fairly new to this game, but I've gone through the tutorial and done as much research online as I can--though I admit, I have not yet gone down a YouTube rabbit hole--and I am utterly confounded.

I have a settlement of humans. Their happiness is at 100%, and their loyalty is at 99%. I have lost 2 of my starting 10 civvies to accidents with wildlife. In another city I had, I was getting immigration with no problem. Yet despite having a pretty developed city with good food reserves at this point, I'm getting absolutely no immigration. I thought it might have had something to do with the lack of roads, so I've built a road from my throne to the western and eastern edges of the map. I should be connected...yet nobody is showing up. What am I doing wrong?

Did u accepted immigrants? U have to allow them to enter ur community.

Click on the face of race u want to allow to enter on the menu on the right side. Then u will se window named Population and there u have button to authorize enters.

On the right, their picture will show with -> if they wanna come.

Click that and it should take you where you + your population cap to auto-authorize immigration.

I will note that things about it are.... weird. You should play with it.

It's just sometimes it doesn't seem like the math going on 'adds up'.

We have only one citizen race, the rest are all slaves. I can have something like sitting 800 pop cap with 100 slaves and 600 people. It magically grows if I increase pop cap to 900.

Maybe having the "room to grow" makes people more comfortable... making pop grow.

Yup, I've accepted immigrants in another city/map I made, but in this one, there's just nobody who wants to come, apparently, despite the 100% happiness and loyalty. I don't know what the issue is, but it's not that I'm unfamiliar with the immigration system itself--at least, I don't think so.

Housing or employment maybe. Could be lack of food stores. If you're dondor then it's just that you are dondor.

(kidding never even started a dondor)

Ahh so it is probably that your throne is blocked.

If you start in some places so that the pathing doesn't see a path to your throne. Easy test is just to move throne into a clearing.

You'll get a message pop saying access to the throne was restored or something.

This happened to me and this thread was the first result on google, the issue was the throne but not my subjects being able to access it. I started on the other side of wide river from the preplaced road that goes through my settlement. I had to fill in a bridge over the river with "remove water" or by building a road. Hope that helps anyone still stuck on this
