So just to make sure im not misunderstanding you, you are able to use the COPY AREA and then save that to use later like you do with room blueprints? When I copy an area I try to press the button to save the area blueprint but it does not seem to work for me? Am I a dunce and missing the most obvious thing?
we can either copy an area for immediate use and only "save" individual room blueprints.
something for the suggestions!
- copy area i want to reuse in the future, e.g. rounded shaped buildings or area of houses with wells, benches, trees etc.
- search for empty space on the map, somewhere way off
- copy and build there
- settings (2nd from the right) > suspend jobs
Then you have the most valuable areas somewhere, where they don't bother you, but you can copy them again and again...
Great advice and thats actually the strategy I started using! Im still gunning for official area blueprints though. Maybe there is a mod for it?
When building, in bottom-right of the construction window you'll find button for recipes.
