Force job type for races

Hello, Loving the game so far btw. Been messing with some concepts but I am stumped on this.

I know you can set job priority per race I.e an 8 in mining or a -2 in farming for X race. But I am yet to find a way to block certain jobs from races entirely or force move jobs for pops.

For example: dondorians are epic at making furniture and they enjoy doing so.
So let's say I want all dondorians to make furniture no one else is allowed too. I want any existing who are doing jobs other than this to quit and be moved.

I appreciate this is very min max in a game where your talking about 1000s of people but I want to have different districts for different races going forward. That are setup to please that race and fit their needs and theme better.

I imagine this is possible and I am just being stupid.

Should be possible by setting priority to -10 for all other races. If there aren't enough Dondorians to fill all the carpenter spots you'll end up having idle people AND workers needed, which can be a bit confusing, be warned.

That did the job, Thank you very much :) is a little confusing at first but sorted. Those guys are happy making their mass produced cheap IKEA furniture.

Got to say i am very impressed with this game and cant wait to see it in its finished state!

Came looking for this exact topic. I'm trying to figure out how to make Cantorians hold jobs, setup districts by race, etc. to min max fulfillment and having a rough go of it.
Happen to be any thorough youtube videos we could reference to accomplish?

Ay, the hammer top left. You have three buttons there for priorities.
